MMN 213 Clinical Internship I

Provides students with the opportunity to apply the theories and principles of central service and sterilization learned in the classroom to the actual work experience in a central service, sterile processing, or distribution department. The role of the central service technician in a hospital central service/sterile processing department will be the focus. In order to participate in the clinical aspect of the program, students must receive a clear background check as required by the health care facilities, have proof of current immunizations, complete CPR for health care professionals, be able to lift 50 pounds, and be able to work on their feet for up to eight hours.




Successful completion of MMN 103, MMN 106, MMN 111, MMN 124, MMN 126, MMN 129, and MMN 132.
