IAUT 115 Introduction to Automotive Steering, Suspension & Brakes

This course is an introduction to automotive steering, suspension, and braking systems. Students will learn the basic theory of these systems, how to put a vehicle on a lift and perform inspections, and how to perform a four-wheel alignment.

Prerequisite

Successful completion of ENG 094 or meet appropriate placement and be concurrently enrolled in MAT 092 or meet appropriate placement while enrolled in IAUT. Instructor's permission required.

Corequisite

IAUT 104, IAUT 105, IAUT 130, and IAUT 140. Must be completed with a grade of 2.3 or better.
