NSS 101 IT Essentials I
This course covers aspects of troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, hardware installation, configuration, diagnostics, and repair. Hardware installation, configuration and upgrading, diagnosing and troubleshooting, preventative maintenance. Operating system topics include common components and features, installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and basic networking. Includes hands-on training in a realistic lab environment which will help prepare the students for the COMPTIA IT Fundamentals Certification Test.
Corequisite
NSS 101 and NSS 105 are half-quarter stacked courses offered during the same quarter. Students must register for both during the same quarter.
