NSSB 232 Investigation and Response
Analysis and understanding of security risks involved in operating a Web site and developing appropriate levels of security. Topics include how to protect a Web setup from intrusion, sabotage, eavesdropping and tampering; and view the web site with existing tools and techniques of hackers. Developing a secure web site plan to select, secure, configure and setup firewalls; secure and extended and distributed enterprise network or Virtual Private Network.
Prerequisite
NSS 109 or Instructor permission.
Corequisite
NSSB 203 and NSSB 232 are half-quarter stacked courses offered during the same quarter. Students must register for both during the same quarter.
