MMN 111 Microbiology/Infection Control

Covers the examination of human pathogens in microbiology. Students will learn about infection control as it relates to the sterilization process. Safety issues in the health care environment are covered, including bloodborne pathogens. This unit satisfies the Washington state law for mandatory HIV training for all medical personnel.
