NOS 100 IT Fundamentals I
This course covers aspects of troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, hardware installation, configuration, diagnostics, and repair. Hardware installation, configuration, and upgrading diagnosing and troubleshooting, preventative maintenance. Operating system topics include common components and features, installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and basic networking. Includes hands-on training in a realistic lab environment which will help prepare the students for the CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification Test.
Corequisite
NOS 100 and NOS 105 are half-quarter stacked courses offered during the same quarter. Students must register for both during the same quarter.
