SURG 212 Surgical Lab III
Preclinical level lab for practice of aseptic principles and practices, scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and preparation of the sterile field. Will practice draping patient, placing multiple types of drains and patient positioning. Demonstrate critical thinking skills and prioritizing the situations and corrections of contaminations. The course will teach care of specimens, and learn the roles of assistant circulator.
