Layout & Fabrication Welding Certificate
Prepares students for employment in positions requiring specialization in print reading, preforming layouts, fitting up parts and fabricating weldments. The competency-based curriculum combines classroom instruction with extensive hands-on training to develop the essential knowledge and skills for industry.
Program Length
This certificate program is approximately two quarters long, depending on the time students need to satisfactorily complete all graduation requirements.
Admission Dates
Daytime/Evening programs: Summer, fall, winter, and spring quarters, or by instructor’s permission.
Completion Requirements
Prerequisite(s)
Minimum Accuplacer arithmetic score of 280 or equivalent or successful completion of MAT 092.
