CHEM& 161 General Chemistry with Lab I
Course covers methods and measurements, including significant figures and scientific notation, states of matter, atomic structure, the periodic table, ionic and covalent bonding, and calculations and chemical equations, including the mole.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of MATH& 141 with a minimum grade of C (2.0) and one year of high school chemistry, or successful completion of CHEM& 121 or other college-level chemistry class with a minimum grade of C (2.0).
