NURS 133 Medical/Surgical Nursing III
Utilizing a physiological system approach focus is on implementation of the nursing process in the care of a diverse population of clients with health disturbances. Emphasis will include promotion of physiological integrity through providing care and comfort, reducing client risk potential and managing health alterations. Topics will include patients in shock, integumentary system and disorders, cardiovascular disorders, respiratory system disorders, hematologic and lymphatic system and disorders.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of NURS 131, NURS 134, and NURS 137.
