MEC 151 Mechanical Systems Build

This course focuses on the principles and hands-on skills required to design, assemble, and analyze mechanical systems. Students will explore motor operation, system safety protocols, and the properties of mechanical components, including materials, lubrication, and surface properties. The course includes an introduction to statics, covering force systems, equilibrium, moments, and friction, providing a foundation for understanding and solving mechanical challenges. Emphasis is placed on practical problem-solving and critical thinking for mechanical assembly and maintenance tasks.
