Additive Manufacturing Specialist Certificate
Provides stackable credentials for proven demonstration of specialized skillsets in Additive Manufacturing technologies/applications. This certificate's flexibility allows individuals to specialize in specific Additive Manufacturing technologies/applications, as needed to achieve their desired personal and professional outcomes. As a result, this certificate has several “Focus” options, including: DED, FFF, PBF, and SLA. Successful completers should list both the certificate and focus titles on their resume, according to the following format: “Additive Manufacturing Specialist – [Focus]”
Completion Requirements
Participants may achieve one or more of these credentials through a combination MET program coursework, 3rd-party industry certifications, and/or otherwise-proven competencies. This certificate is awarded to any participant that successfully completes 15-20 credits worth of competencies in the MET program within the following courses:
- MET 102: Additive Manufacturing – Knowledge
- MET 202: Additive Manufacturing – Skills
