Yearly FAFSA/WASFA Timelines

Students must apply for financial aid once every academic year. For financial aid purposes, the year starts July 1 and ends June 30 (Summer Quarter through Spring Quarter). The FAFSA or WASFA application will be available starting October 1 for the following academic year. If a student starts classes in Winter or Spring Quarters, two FAFSAs m or WAFSAs must be completed: one for the current school year and one for the upcoming school year.
