MLT 202 Foundations of Medical Laboratory Practice
An in-depth discussion of the fundamental knowledge required for medical laboratory technicians in all areas of the clinical laboratory, including pipetting, microscopy, laboratory math, and performing accurate dilutions. Professional ethics, quality assurance and quality control, and communicating effectively in healthcare are emphasized.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of CAH 110, MATH& 146, CHEM& 121, and BIOL&160.
Corequisite
MLT 224, 229 and MLT 212 or placement.
