MLT 223 Clinical Chemistry

Explores the principles, techniques, and application of clinical chemistry in the analysis of blood and other body fluids. The normal and abnormal biochemistry of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, enzymes, and electrolytes as well as the utility of clinical chemistry results to evaluate organ function and monitor disease are also discussed. The principles behind common diagnostic tests are emphasized throughout the course.
